Pookie’s ride

Mike made a new seat for Pookie, using solvent-welded acrylic.

In my experience the acrylic will actually snap before the joint, if it’s done properly, using too much or moving anything before it’s cured will drastically weaken the weld.  As far as holding up to stress over time we will see! I’ve had good experiences before but this is definitely under more stress than any of my previous chemically welded acrylic projects!
