Setting Thermostats

To achieve comfortable temperatures (at least in the front areas and woodshop), see the Wiki for information on thermostat locations serving each room.

When you arrive, check the thermostat display and set the temperature as needed, be aware that setting it to an extreme beyond the desired temp will not speed up getting there.

Our ISY994 automation system will, after sensors have not detected any motion in an area for an extended period of time, automatically set-back the temperature.

That said, please do remember to reset the temperature when you leave!

During the winter months, the heating temperature setting in the woodshop and front areas should not be set below 55F.
