Host your meetup at Manchester Makerspace!

Any member in good standing can offer a class or host a meetup in the makerspace, members are encourage to use #discuss-talk-to-the-board if they’d like to propose a one-off or recurring event!

We do have a few simple asks of the member host:

• Please coordinate with the appropriate Resource Manager to find dates and times that work for the board and membership
• You will be responsible for your attendees and all their actions while they are at the Makerspace. For this reason, we recommend you use a site like Eventbrite to help identify who will be in attendance
• Please take care not to let your guests “wander off” nor attempt to use Makerspace equipment. If you do have plans that involve our tools, your guests will be better served by making your event into a formal class offering.
• We have a variety of rooms available as well as tables and chairs, however setup/teardown is the responsibility of the member host.
• Please dispose of any trash, especially food waste, appropriately (meaning bagged and placed in our outdoor bins)

Prospective member hosts can ping the board at #discuss-talk-to-the-board, while non-members are encouraged to attend an upcoming Open House Night to meet the members and see the space!
