Have you always wanted to use the power of electricity to mend two pieces of metal together? Now’s the time to learn!
Tungsten Inert Gast (TIG), formally known as Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), is the most refined form of electric-arc welding. It’s one of the most flexible methods, allowing you to weld mild steel, stainless, aluminum, titanium, and more materials using the same machine. This course is focused on the basics of making and testing welds on mild steel, but the same principles and techniques apply to any material you use.
This will class will also serve as a safety checkout on the TIG for current and potential members. For non-members, consider joining, you’ll get more time to practice with our 24-7 access to the facilities! No prior welding experience is necessary for this course.
